Love Comes From The Heart

Can you love someone whom you have never meet personally? I have been spending a lot of time in online social portals, writing groups, and chat rooms over the past year and have learned that indeed you can love people whom you have never personally meet. It is so easy in today's world to become self absorbent thinking only of ourselves, our troubles, our needs, our desires, we are all guilty of it at some point in our lives. We are human, after all. I have made some great new friendship over the Internet and truly feel a bond with these friends. I would take to this opportunity to wish each of you a special and loving Valentine Wish! You have enriched my life.

"Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality."

Super Bowl Sunday!

Super Bowl XLIII, Saints or Colts?  Who will you be pulling for?

I like both teams so I was undecided for a while, however, I think I will be pulling for the Saints. The Colts have been in the Super twice, and since this is the Saints first trip I'm going to give them my support.

It should be an interesting game with some hard hitting in your face football.  For a list of the history of who played who in what super bowl you can go here

I'm looking forward to the halftime show with "The Who." I'm curious to see how their performance stacks up to the way I remember them way back when.

Wishing you all a great, fun, safe day with friends and family!
